Dr. H. (Henk) de Waard, born in 1983, studied theology at the Theological University of Apeldoorn (BA 2006; MA 2010) and Semitic Languages at Leiden University (BA 2009). His doctoral dissertation was titled “Jeremiah 52 in the Context of the Book of Jeremiah” (Theological University of Apeldoorn, 2019). From 2009 to 2016 he was a teacher of Christian religion at the Christelijk Scholengemeenschap Prins Maurits, Middelharnis (the Netherlands), and from 2011 to 2016 research assistant in Old Testament studies at the Theological University of Apeldoorn. From 2016, he has been a lecturer of Biblical Hebrew and Aramaic at that university. His research is focused on the book of Jeremiah.
