University of Ljubljana Joins RESILIENCE as an Observer

On Tuesday 14 March, in a festive and official meeting, a contract was signed between the University of Ljubljana and RESILIENCE, giving the university the observer status in RESILIENCE. This makes the University of Ljubljana the first institution to receive this status within the infrastructure for Religious Studies in which TUA also participates.

New elective module 'Theology and music' for Master's in Living Reformed Theology

Dr P. (Pieter) Veerman has been appointed at TUA as researcher (0.4 fte) and lecturer in Practical Theology (0.1 fte) with effect from 1 September 2023.

Dr C.C. den Hertog appointed as a lecturer/researcher in Public Theology at the TUA

From 1 April 2023, Dr C.C. den Hertog will be appointed at the Theological University Apeldoorn (TUA) as lecturer/researcher of systematic theology/ethics of social and cultural affairs.

Volume 2.1 of the edition of the Acts of the Synod of Dordt has been published

After many years of hard work by an international team of experts, volume 2.1 of the edition of the Acts of the Synod of Dordt has been published. This volume encountered the hardships of corona with libraries and archives being closed, and above all the passing away of one of the key scholars for this volume, Dr. Joke Roelevink. In spite of all this a team of editors has managed to complete this massive and important volume and it is with pride that the book was presented in Apeldoorn recently. It is expected that the next volumes can appear at regular pace over the next years.

Prof. Dr. M.J. Kater is the new rector of the TUA

On Monday 9 January, Prof H.J. Selderhuis handed over the rectorship to Prof M.J. Kater. This was done symbolically by handing over the chain of office.
